BREAKFAST ACAI BOWL
This makes a great breakfast. It is filling and full of antioxidants, dietary fibre, omega fatty acids and vitamins.
This is very easy to make and versatile because you can pretty much throw in any fruit, nuts or seeds you love.
2 tablespoons freeze-dried acai powder (This is pretty expensive in Singapore. We order ours from iherb.com instead. I use the Navitas Naturals brand.)
2 cups of frozen mixed berries (I buy 1kg bags from Phoon Huat in Holland Village)
1 frozen banana
1 cup almond milk. Use more or less depending on how you prefer the consistency
Blend together until smooth
Fill half a bowl and then add yoghurt, granola (see my homemade Healthy Breakfast Granola recipe here), nuts, seeds, and fruit. Options are endless.
